CELOTTI WORKFORCE is seeking experienced Crushing and Screening Operators
to join a dynamic team and operate and maintain plant equipment across the Perth region. This role offers competitive hourly rates and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on preventative maintenance of the crushing plant and heavy duty mobile equipment - crusher rebuilds, screen mat changes, roller and skirt replacements, and repairs.
- Diagnose and fault find breakdowns on equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work
- Collaborate with team members to complete complex repair projects
- Disassemble, repair and reassemble crushing equipment components
- Assemble and commission new crushing and screening equipment
- Demonstrated experience with reading and interpreting hydraulics and electrical schematics
- Ensure safe execution of projects, meeting required standards, quality, and schedules
- Prepare machines for operation through pre-start checks and mechanical inspections
- Work under the direction of Field Service Maintenance Supervisors
- Follow and implement instructions from Supervisor/Leading Hand
- Fixed Circuit Crushing Plant
- Excavators
- Loaders
- Dozers
- Water Carts
- ADTs
- Certificate in Mechanical Fitting (Heavy)
- High-risk work licence, EWP, Rigging, Dogging, Crane
- At least 2 years experience in a crushing environment (previous experience with Metso, Finlay, Powerscreen, Cedarapids crushers & screens.
- HD Diesel Mechanics Qualification (highly desirable).
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics.
- Relevant tickets and qualifications
- A current driver’s license
- Current working at heights certification ( highly regarded but not essential)
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work safely and follow safe practices in a regulated environment
- Full working rights in Australia
