About the Role:

Due to an existing and growing patient demand, our client is currently seeking a General Medical Practitioner to join it’s dynamic and friendly team located in a busy shopping centre location.

Our Client is expected to continue experiencing high growth due to an increase in population, and by providing excellent customer service, offering highly professional and personalised healthcare to every patient.

Offering a comprehensive range of services including general medicine, men and women’s health, skin cancer checks, vaccinations and worker’s health checks, our client is dedicated to making sure you feel comfortable, secure and most importantly, understood during any treatment.

The successful candidate will have the following key requirements:

  • MBBS or equivalent degree
  • 2 years Postgraduate training and experience in general practice within Australia
  • General Registration as a Medical Practitioner by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Current medical indemnity insurance
  • Current and valid Competencies – BLS/ALS etc
  • Current Police Check or willingness to obtain
  • Current NT Working With Children Card or willingness to obtain
  • Strong written and oral interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships
  • Demonstrated effective organisational skills, including the ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines and manage competing priorities within a small team environment
  • ABN and Provider Number
  • Knowledge of patient billing or willingness to learn
  • Exceptional patient care

Desirable:

  • Fellowship of the relevant Australian Specialist College or an equivalent qualification
