About the Role:

Our client is seeking an Indigenous Safety Adviser for permanent full-time employment in the remote community of Nhulunbuy on the Gove peninsula, in South-East Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. Our client is a well established NT construction company, and excellent working conditions and pay rate are on offer. Accommodation is included in the salary package.

Our Ideal Candidate has:

  • Experience in the construction industry;
  • OHS, environmental and quality management system understanding and commitment;
  • A sound knowledge of Acts, Regulations and Codes of Practice;
  • Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills;
  • Internal audit (OHS, quality, Environment) skills; and
  • Basic computer skills (particularly Microsoft Office applications).

Desirable but not essential:

  • Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent; and
  • Internal auditor training.
